At-Sea Initiatives

The success of the Navy's at-sea environmental stewardship program contributes to the success of our military mission, all while preserving the ocean environment for future generations.

The Navy has numerous at-sea training and environmental stewardship initiatives.

  • AT-SEA TRAINING Military readiness activities must be as realistic as possible to provide Sailors with the experiences necessary for success and safety.

  • ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNING USFFC conducts planning to analyze the potential impact of its military readiness activities and home basing/homeporting of new assets (i.e., aircraft or vessels).
