Ceremonial Bands

Ceremonial bands are traditional military ensembles composed of woodwinds, brass, and percussion. The U.S. Fleet Forces Ceremonial Band performs at military and community events throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, and they are most commonly assigned to change of command ceremonies, retirement ceremonies and other patriotic events. The band's repertoire includes marches, patriotic favorites, and military ceremonial music.

Event Logistical Requirements

The logistical requirements for requesting the U.S. Fleet Forces Band include:

  • A covered stage or flat, level surface

  • Indoor locations as a back-up for outdoor events due to inclement weather

  • Parking for three (3) vans

  • A private changing area

  • Chairs for required personnel
