Romania - A Romanian marine posts security in a training exercise during exercise Sea Breeze 25-1 in Smardan Range, Romania, June 12, 2025. The amphibious portion of Sea Breeze is hosted by Romania at Smardan Range, and focuses on the integration and command and control of Marine Amphibious Forces.This is the first time since 2021 that amphibious operations have been incorporated in Sea Breeze. Countries and organizations who are scheduled to participate, observe, or mentor during the amphibious portion of Sea Breeze include United States, Bulgaria, Moldova, Romania, and Türkiye. The U.S. participation includes exercise support personnel from SIXTHFLT, U.S. Marine Corps Forces Europe (MARFOREUR), U.S. Expeditionary Warfare Training Group Atlantic (EWTGLANT), Force Recon Company (FORECON), 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion and Fox Battery, 2nd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment (2/14).
