Norfolk - NORFOLK (Feb. 22, 2021) Adm. Christopher W. Grady, commander of U.S. Fleet Forces Command, speaks with midshipmen and cadets during the Notre Dame Naval Leadership Conference, Feb. 22, 2021. Grady shared his philosophy on toughness as a well-rounded approach to life that echoed this year's theme "Forged through Adversity." The week-long event provides future leaders an opportunity to critically examine the principles of leadership and to hear from successful military and civilian leaders, who provided them with the tools and information that will guide them to success throughout their service.
