NAVIFOR Leadership Continues Visits to Pacific IW Commands to Bolster Mission Readiness

25 February 2026 This week, Vice Adm. Mike Vernazza, Commander, Naval Information Forces, and Force Master Chief Augustine Cooper visited our Information Warfare (IW) commands within the U.S. Pacific Fleet to support and enhance mission readiness across the IW domain.

During their trip, they met with the leadership and crew at the Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC) and Fleet Information Warfare Command Pacific in Hawaii. These visits were an opportunity to see IW sailors in action and ensure they have the training, equipment, and support needed to succeed. NAVIFOR was proud to see the incredible work being done to maintain our strategic edge in the Pacific.
