NWDC Recognizes FY22 Civilian of the Quarter Fourth Quarter

NORFOLK, Va. -Director Michael Durkin, Director, Navy Warfare Development Center (NWDC) recognized the Civilian of the Quarter (COQ) for the fourth quarter (4th Qtr.) , fiscal year(FY) 2022. The ceremony was held onboard NWDC during the U.S. Navy's 247th birthday celebration.

Mr. Joseph Pearl, a Military Analyst on the staff of NWDC was selected as NWDC's 4th Qtr. FY22 COQ.

Mr. Joseph Pearl is a subject matter expert and provided oversight during the development of a variety of complex Fleet concepts of operations (CONOPS). He reviewed, commented, and guided ten Fleet CONOPS, five Navy-wide OPTASK messages, and nine Joint Capabilities Integration and Development system documents, provided critical analysis in shaping several emerging war fighting areas across all domains.

He was awarded a certificate and a Civilian Meritorious Service Medal.
