Fleet Master Chief Jason M. Haka entered the U.S. Navy in January 1992 from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Master Chief Haka's sea duty assignments include VAW-112, USS Kearsarge (LHD 3), USS Kauffman (FFG 59), and USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72).

His shore duty assignments include Coastal Systems Station, Panama City, Florida and NFMT, Mayport, Florida.

In 2011, Haka entered the Command Master Chief (CMC) Program.  His CMC tours include USS Lassen (DDG 82); USS George Washington (CVN 73); USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76); Carrier Strike Group FIVE/Task Force SEVEN ZERO, Commander U.S. SEVENTH Fleet; Force Master Chief for Commander, Naval Air Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet; Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV Staff); and in October 2025 became the 21st Fleet Master Chief at United States Fleet Forces Command.

Throughout his career, he has completed deployments in the SECOND, THIRD, FOURTH, FIFTH, SIXTH, and SEVENTH Fleet areas of responsibilities, and participated in operations SOUTHERN WATCH, ENDURING FREEDOM, and IRAQI FREEDOM.

Master Chief Haka is a graduate of the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy, Class 142 (Khaki) and CMC/COB Course Class 94.  He is a graduate of National Defense University’s Senior Enlisted Keystone course 18-1 and Naval Postgraduate School’s Navy Senior Leader Seminar (NSLS).  He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in strategic leadership from Touro University International.  His personal awards include the Navy “E” Ribbon (w/wreath), the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (15 awards) and various other personal, service, and campaign awards.
