NPS Launches New Master’s in Artificial Intelligence Focused on Warfighter Needs

Pittsfield, Mass. - Frank LaRagione, chief engineer at PMOSPS (retired), points to a new entry placeholder on a plaque in Pittsfield, Mass., in Spring 2025. The plaque recognizes members of the PMOSPS technical workforce that have completed the Technical Discipline Training and Qualification Program (TDTQP). TDTQP provides a fundamental understanding of the technical policies, processes, and acquisition management tools that underpin the nation’s Trident II D5 strategic weapons system (SWS), nuclear-armed sea launched cruise missile (SLCM-N), and the non-nuclear hypersonic conventional prompt strike system (CPS).
