  • Note 1: The Adm. Arleigh A. Burke Trophy was presented to the NBPRP by the U.S. Navy through private subscription among the officers and enlisted members of the Navy and Navy Reserve. The trophy is the steel helmet worn by Adm. Burke through the entire Atlantic Campaign of World War II.  It is awarded to the Navy competitor with the highest aggregate score during the national CMP rife competition.
  • Note 2: The Fleet Admiral Nimitz Trophy was presented to the NBPRP by the U.S. Navy through private subscription among the officers and enlisted members of the Navy and Naval Reserve. The trophy is the pistol presented to Fleet Adm. Chester W. Nimitz in 1905 by his classmates, The Youngsters in his Company *05, at the U.S. Naval Academy. Adm. Nimitz carried the pistol during World War II. It is awarded to the Navy competitor with the highest aggregrated score during the national CMP pistol competition.
  • Note 3: The Wyatt Silver Bowl was given in memory of Capt. Joe Earl Wyatt and all the other brave men and women of this nation who have gone in harms way on the seas. It consists of a silver bowl mounted on a polished walnut base. It is awarded to the Navy competitor with the highest score during the National Trophy Individual Rifle competition.
  • Note 4: The U. S. Army Reserve Memorial Trophy is in memory of those who have given their lives while on reserve duty. It is awarded to the highest scoring reserve competitor.
